We are community members throughout Seattle who want to ensure that our city is both affordable and livable for everyone. Seattle Fair Growth recognizes that growth is coming and believes we must find ways to accommodate growth that:
Seattle is under tremendous pressure because of the unprecedented growth it is experiencing. Because of this, there have been numerous community specific advocacy groups that have sprouted in order to address the growth issues and pains in their neighborhoods. As a city wide group, we are uniquely positioned to help unify these groups and, through our combined strength, influence city policy to achieve the above goals for the city we love.
We are Seattle FAIR Growth. We are not about preserving Single Family Neighborhoods nor allowing developers free reign over Seattle as it grows. We are about equitable and fair growth that allows sufficient and affordable supply of housing and prevents displacement of vulnerable communities as it happens.
